About Centacare
Centacare Family and Community Services was established in Bathurst by the Catholic Bishop and Trustees of the Diocese in June 1988 to provide a range of social welfare services to children and families accross the region which extends from Lithgow in the south to Coonamble in the north, Cowra in the west and Rylstone in the east - this is an area of some 100,000 square Kilometers.
Centacare has three offices, Bathurst, Dubbo and Mudgee. In addition Centacare has outreach centres in Lithgow, and Orange. A range of counselling, mediation, and community education services are offered to the surrounding areas from these centres.
Services are funded by State and Commonwealth Governments, the Catholic Church, Bequests, Benevolent Trusts, Private Donors and client fees. |
